You can switch to the next higher plan at any time – the upgrade is done with one click and takes effect immediately. When you reach a capacity limit of your plan, such as users, locations, or items, DeSight Supply alerts you in advance; your data and settings remain fully intact. On switching, only the price difference is calculated proportionally. If you need more than the Scale plan limits or special requirements like SSO and SLA, we'll create a custom quote for you.

Where is my data stored and is DeSight Supply GDPR compliant?

Your data is hosted on servers in Germany and processed in accordance with GDPR. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access can be finely controlled through roles and permissions, and every change is logged in a full audit trail – important for traceability and inventory audits. A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available. This makes DeSight Supply suitable for companies with high requirements for data protection and data sovereignty.

How does the AI Assistant work and does it cost extra?

The AI Assistant is included in every plan at no additional cost. You ask it questions about inventory, orders, and metrics in natural language – such as which items are below minimum stock – and trigger routine steps directly from the dialog. Each plan has a fair-use limit that fully covers normal daily work; for very intensive use, it can be extended. This way, the AI feature remains predictable for you and isn't tied to hidden extra costs.

In which countries and currencies is DeSight Supply available?

Within the EU, DeSight Supply is billed in Euro; outside the EU in US Dollar. The user interface is available in multiple languages, including German and English. In certain countries, use is currently not possible for legal or tax reasons; whether the system is available for your location is shown transparently during registration. Prices remain comparable across markets and are not artificially inflated by region.

Can DeSight Supply connect to Shopify and my ERP?

Yes. DeSight Supply syncs inventory and orders bidirectionally and in real time with Shopify, so online store, POS, and warehouse share the same inventory and oversells are prevented. Via the open REST API with more than 90 endpoints and webhooks, you additionally connect your ERP, accounting, or custom applications. These interfaces are included in every plan at no extra cost, so you're free to embed the system into your existing tool landscape.

Can I migrate data from another system?

Yes. Products, inventory, customers, and suppliers can be imported into DeSight Supply via CSV import or the open REST API, so you start with your existing data rather than creating everything from scratch. For structured migrations, you can map fields to the corresponding records and preview the import. For larger or more complex data sets, our team supports the import to ensure the switch happens without data loss or extended downtime.

At what point does an inventory management system like DeSight Supply make sense?

An inventory management system makes sense as soon as stock is maintained in multiple places – such as across an online store, a POS, and marketplaces – or when manual spreadsheet work, oversells, and stockouts start costing time and revenue. In practice, this point is often reached at just a few dozen orders per month. How does the free trial work?

You test DeSight Supply for 14 days free without entering a credit card. During this time, the full feature set is available – from inventory management to POS to Shopify integration; only AI Assistant usage may be limited during the trial. The trial ends automatically – you don't need to cancel anything, and no costs are incurred as long as you don't actively choose a plan. This way, you can test the system at your own pace with your own data.

Can I cancel monthly?

Yes. The monthly plan can be cancelled at any time at the end of the month, with no minimum term. The annual plan runs until the end of the booked period and only renews if you don't cancel in time – it's 20% cheaper per month for that reason. You can export your data at any time in either case, including products, inventory, and documents. There are no cancellation fees and no hidden commitments.

Are there hidden costs or per-order fees?

No. DeSight Supply has no per-order fees, no device licenses, and no surcharges for individual features. You pay only the fixed plan price – including all features and full REST API. Plans differ only in capacity: number of locations, users, items, and sales channels. If your operation outgrows your plan, simply switch to the next tier – the price stays predictable and you know from day one what the software costs per month.
